We Got Us is a youth-led peer-to-peer mental health initiative designed to help students heal, lead, and support one another in schools and communities impacted by trauma, violence, and emotional stress.

This workshop explores how schools can implement healing-centered spaces where students are trained as peer leaders, mental health ambassadors, and changemakers. Participants will learn how the program combines trauma-informed support, leadership development, restorative dialogue, youth advocacy, and community engagement to create healthier school cultures and stronger student outcomes.

Attendees will leave with practical strategies for launching peer-led mental health initiatives, increasing student connection and belonging, and empowering youth voice as part of school transformation efforts.
