Join us for an immersive 60-minute exploration into the foundations of Trauma-Resilient Educational Communities (TREC 101). Participants will dive into the transformative science of PACEs (Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences), uncovering how trauma impacts the brain and body while learning that healing and adaptation are always possible.
We will move beyond mere "trauma-informed" awareness to actionable "trauma-resilience," emphasizing that sustainable success is rooted in the power of trusted relationships rather than individual grit.
Attendees will experience evidence-based strategies, including self-regulation techniques like Heart-Focused Breathing, designed to stabilize emotions and foster a calming environment. We will examine the holistic TREC framework, which integrates Social-Emotional Learning and Restorative Justice to improve student outcomes and staff wellness. Notably, all attendees will receive credit for TREC 101 and a free pass to complete TREC 201 and 301, clearing the path to receive their formal Trauma-Resilient Professional (TRP) Certification.
