Participants will explore how LAER’s 12 indicators—spanning instructional planning, assessment, standards alignment, instructional delivery, classroom environment, and professionalism—have been mapped across the College of Education’s programs to elevate candidate readiness and ensure compliance with Louisiana’s Bulletin 996 and related administrative codes. The session will then extend beyond a single state, offering a national framework that other states can adapt to their own rubrics.

Attendees will leave with a practical, step-by-step integration template, examples of crosswalk tools, and strategies for building shared language among higher education faculty, mentor teachers, and district partners. The session will highlight how coherent rubric integration can improve candidate performance, strengthen P–20 partnerships, and create a more consistent educator pipeline across all 50 states.
