JAG students are entering a workforce shaped by AI — yet most have never been treated as builders of it. In this hands-on workshop, participants will use Playlab to build a custom AI tool tailored to the real career barriers their students face: navigating job applications without support, practicing interviews without access to a coach, or exploring careers without someone to guide them. The session goes beyond the "how" of AI to explore the "when and why" — giving specialists a framework for helping students use AI with agency and discernment, not just dependency.
Participants will follow Playlab's "Identify, Decompose, Build" process to create a working tool during the session, then pause to ask: what should AI do for students, and what should students still do for themselves?
Attendees leave with a finished Playlab app, and a new lens for integrating AI into their programs equitably and intentionally.
